Synopsis[]
The episode starts with Mrs. Puff teaching a lesson until the bell rings. All the kids rush out the door very fast except for SpongeBob. He tells Mrs. puff that he will see her next week but is interrupted by a floating boatmobile.
The two get spooked even when they see that the Flying Dutchman was pranking them. SpongeBob asks why the ghost pirate is here. He replies with to just scare people on Friday the 13th. Mrs. Puff gets the idea of having the Dutchman help SpongeBob pass his boating exam the next day.
So far it turns out a disaster and ruins the whole track, but it turns into a complete miracle. One of the students sees the Flying Dutchman and calls a ghostbuster called the Ghostkicker. The Ghost Pirate hears this and stops the exam. Making Mrs. Puff very disappointed. SpongeBob promises to help the Flying Dutchman deal with the enemy for the ghost.
The plan ends up working. The GhostKicker gets terrified and leaves the school screaming his head off. And the episode ends with The Flying Dutchman leaving a ghoulish present for SpongeBob and Mrs. Puff.
